It's been our 15th or so visit... and when we sat down to order this time, Yunis remembered our orders! I love this restaurant. The food is always aromatic and the service is always prompt.

You can always count on a pho spot to have some vegan options, but the pho wasn't what kept me from going back. Their Banh Mi is a good option for vegans although the tofu is a bit minimal. Crunch on the bread is great and surprisingly their French fries were delicious. I've always received quick and nice service. I'd skip the spring rolls next time. Various other dishes can be made vegan. Happy Munchies, @aVeganAndHer

Beast Pho I ordered the No. 2 Spicy Dac Biet with Spicy Power: Hot. -Grub- It was surprisingly good because it wasn't just them tossing on chili oil, but using some sort of Chili Crisp-like sauce. It had dried chili peppers, chili oil, and what tasted like fermented beans mixed in as well which resulted in a spicy, salty, savory mix. What you get with the spicy Pho is less of the original Pho broth (which is still great on its own) but more of the spicy, salty, and savory parts of the spicy sauce. Spicy Power: Hot is somewhere between the higher end of Jalapeño and Serrano. It was a surprisingly tasty experience as I've never tried a restaurant that offered spicy versions of their Pho. -Service- Service was attentive. The workers spoke Korean so I assume the place is Korean owned & operated. What's surprising is that in my experience most Korean-owned Pho restaurant tend to be garbo in quality, but this place wasn't. I will remember that. The lady offered extra water potions which was gratefully accepted as I had already downed mine due to the spicy power. -Misc- I like their metal chairs. Normally, I wouldn't appreciate it, but the metal chairs give off a street food-like vibe which is appropriate here.

We love love love Pho On California. This has become our go to spot here in Pasadena. Everything on the menu is scrumptious. And the service is always attentive. It is family owned after all. This is an ideal spot for a quick casual lunch or take out for a light dinner.

Delicious food and friendly service. The pork egg rolls and BBQ pork are our favorites so far, but will definitely go back to try the pho. Conveniently located in Vons strip mall, across the street from Huntington Hospital.

They've improved 4+ years later since the broth is more flavorful and has hints of traditional phó broth. I ordered the spicy dac biet and added a short rib, which really made it so much better. Also ordered their summer rolls with shrimp and pork and it was alright. The pork is not your traditional boiled pork belly, but seasoned grilled pork instead. Service was attentive and the surroundings were clean.

Wafting broth is beckoning all of us in, even if you've never tried this hidden pho goodness treasure. It's only a few doors down from my nail salon I just came from and I thought I could be strong but guess the incredible smells won this battle. It's a toss up between this gem and another hubby and I frequent so there's some serious bonus to having frequent pedis!!

Service is good. The younger korean lady works hard. - Spicy Pho lvl 3 4/5 It's definitely spicy. The deep broth pho taste is gone and just spicy. They don't give you basil you have to ask for it. I thought it was just an ok pho. Next time I'll try the regular pho to taste the broth. Free parking in lot.

Pho on Cali is my go to pho place in the old town area. It's a little restaurant but the food really delivers and it's really convenient to stop by after picking up some groceries next door. I usually order the Pho Tai to go and they're very generous with the amount of bean sprouts you get with your order. The food itself is very delicious and the broth is so soothing. I find myself coming back here quite often to pick up their pho. Moreover, the packaging is very nice because they separate the noodles from the broth to prevent your noodles from getting too soggy while you're transporting the food back home. Every time I've been here, the staff has been incredibly polite and professional so no complaints there. Overall great place to stop at for pho and would recommend it to anyone in the area!
